Long Beach Yacht Club members celebrated Oktoberfest in true Bavarian style this month. Presented by the LBYC Anglers & Cruisers, a social group of members, the club offered an all-day à la carte Oktoberfest menu, complete with German-inspired favorites such as Bratwurst, Soft Pretzels, Apple Strudel, and more, making it a festive day for all ages.

Members enjoyed free beer, featuring special brews at a beer brewing contest crafted by the Intermediates, Anglers and Cruisers, who each brought their own unique take to the celebration. The costume contest brought out the best lederhosen and dirndls, and live music from The Oompah Meisters kept the energy high as members filled the dance floor.

With good food, great company, and plenty of Bavarian cheer, Oktoberfest at LBYC was a perfect example of the camaraderie and fun that define our club culture. Prost!
