Enjoy Summer in Gstaad

Gstaad Yacht Club is pleased to share with our fellow ICOYC Members some of the highlights of our upcoming summer program.

August 14, 2026, brings the 9th edition of the much-loved GYC Interclub Golf & Yachting, one of the most anticipated dates in our summer calendar of events. The day begins early at the Gstaad-Saanenland Golf Club before moving in the afternoon to the beautiful Hornbergsee, an alpine lake at 2,000 metres altitude, for the highlight of the day—our highly anticipated regattas. After racing, guests gather at the GYC Clubhouse for our traditional BBQ and prize-giving ceremony. It’s a wonderful day in great company, and we very much hope you ICOYC Members will join us. For our reciprocal clubs abroad, the timing also offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy a long summer weekend in Gstaad.

August 15, 2026, Ferragosto, promises another memorable evening, whether in the convivial company of the famous Eagle Ski Club and Burgess or for lovers of classical music at the renowned Gstaad Menuhin Festival, featuring Daniel Hope, the Gstaad Festival Orchestra and Alexander Shelley in the Festival Tent.

The weekend continues on Sunday with relaxed family brunch or lunch buffet gatherings at GYC, alongside walks and outdoor activities around the idyllic Arnensee. Guests may also wish to conclude the weekend with another exceptional evening at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, with the Budapest Festival Orchestra conducted by Iván Fischer and featuring Isata Kanneh-Mason.

We warmly encourage members travelling from abroad to make the most of this unique combination of sport, alpine nature, music and friendship in Gstaad. Save the Date and ask GYC’s office for detailed registration information.

The 15th edition of the Gstaad Yacht Club’s Centenary Trophy, the only regatta in the world dedicated exclusively to classic yachts of 100 years or more, will take the waters off Saint-Tropez on October 1, 2026. We would be delighted to see many of you there. More information HERE.
