Cork Week 2026 – Clear Your Calendar for July!
Royal Cork Yacht Club is looking forward to an active 2026 season, with Cork Week from July 6-10, a highlight for the cruiser racing fleet. Since its inception in 1978, Cork Week has been a jewel in the Irish racing calendar. More than just a regatta, it is a showcase for Irish sailing, attracting sailors from across the globe to the world’s oldest yacht club for a week of world-class competition.
This year’s edition promises to be particularly special with three prestigious Championship events:
- The ICRA National Championships: Bringing the very best of the Irish cruiser-racing fleet to Cork Harbour.
- The International Etchells European Championships: Adding an extra layer of prestige and demanding one-design racing to the week.
- The Beaufort Cup: Attracting uniformed service crews from around the world to compete, both offshore and inshore.
Whether you are a seasoned offshore campaigner or prefer the tactical challenges of inshore racing, there is a class for everyone at Cork Week. From the high-intensity championship fleets to the increasingly popular Coastal and Non-Spinnaker classes, the regatta is designed to deliver competitive sailing for every level of experience—this year with the opportunity to compete for IRC National titles as part of the ICRA National Championships.

Event entry includes berthage at the RCYC’s expanded marina for the duration of the event, with craneage available for boats on trailers. If you want to bring your boat sooner, visitor berths are available in advance of the event—contact the RCYC to reserve.
Crosshaven has expanded in recent years, meaning more local facilities and more local accommodation options available at reasonable prices—please see the ‘Event’ section of the website for relevant details.

Royal Cork Yacht Club will be the epicentre of the week for all competitors, featuring live entertainment and a vibrant post-sailing atmosphere for all competitors.
Racing on the water is sure to be hard-fought, and the atmosphere ashore will be equally vibrant. It is the perfect opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet visiting crews, and enjoy the unique hospitality that RCYC is famous for.
