ICOYC President John Stork (left) hosted an ICOYC volunteer appreciation dinner at Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, prior to the start of the first Commodores' cruise. The sumptuous meal included RVanYC lobster bisque (right).

Among the guests were RVanYC Commodore, Jim Burns (a Director of ICOYC) and SYC Rear Commodore Kim Lorenz (a Vice President of ICOYC). Heinz Rautenberg, Honorary Director and Past President of ICOYC also attended. John made thanks to Larry Fournier (ICOYC Treasurer (RVanYC)) and Barbara Holder (ICOYC Administrator (RVanYC)) as well as Heinz for founding ICOYC. John also thanked ICOYC Director and Secretary Dr. Gero Brugmann (NRV) and Maxime Billon who are currently working feverishly (in Hamburg) revising the ICOYC website.
