The 5^th Commodores’ Forum hosted by the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club in Perth gave plenty of food for thought, camaraderie and an excellent experience of Western Australian hospitality and organization. The event kicked off with a Vice Regal Reception hosted by His Excellency Dr. Ken Michael, Governor of Western Australia.  Key players (including Board and professional staff) from 20 yacht clubs then shared experience during two days of meetings at RFBYC’s impressive facility on the beautiful Swan River.  A third day was devoted to a trip to the Maritime Museum including a briefing on ISAF World Sailing Championship followed by racing in the local fleet of Bakewell 8s.
