Societe Nautique de Marseille
At the heart of the Vieux Port, from its creation in 1887, Société Nautique de Marseille (SNM) has concentrated its activities in three main areas : the organization of regattas and nautical-based events, the management of berths, and the sailing school.
In 1932, SNM was recognized under the French 1901 association law as being of public benefit.
Since January 1, 2007, it manages approximately 564 berths as a Public Service Delegation agent.
In 2010, SNM organized 11 regattas.
Both the Board of Trustees and its President wish to preserve this level of activity which has resulted in SNM’s position as number two in the French Sailing Federation club classification in 2009.
